Yes, virtually all universities for masters asking for at least B average (as per their Grade classification).
Now I have found a ray of hope. Even though University of Victoria says they require at least B average as well, they have further considered different "minimum" criteria for different countries (after all different boards follow different evaluation patterns).
Search by "University of Victoria Minimum GPA for international students" on Google l where you can find list of all countries and their corresponding "minimum" for eligibility. For India, first class ie. 60% is enough. (Posting link here is prohibited I see.)
I hope I can find more such universities . I heard if GPA is not up to the mark, work experience might compensate to some extent, in some cases.
http://www.mun.ca/undergrad/admissions/india.php Some people here on forum are misinterpreting the facts and spreading misconception, Memorial university only requires 50% minimum to get indian and pakistani students admitted. Here is the minimum requirement of admission regarding percentage for undergraduate programs.
I know my GPA is far low. Only 2.62 with 67.80 percentage. Please tell me any college/University which can give me admission with such low GPA? Thanks in advance.
How come a 2.62 gpa is equivalent to 67.8%? I've got a 2.51/4 gpa and by my university grading system it's equivalent to 73-77%.
a 2.0 GPA is equivalent to a C (70%)
3.0 is equivalent to a B (80%)

I have Masters from United States with 3.3 GPA in Mechanical Engineering and Undergraduate from India in Mechanical Engineering around 53%.
In addition, I have 10 years of experience working as a SQL/ Oracle DBA , Data warehouse Analyst, ETL warehouse Developer etc. I am looking for admission into Masters in Computer Science in Canada. Could someone let me know whether they consider my Masters GPA and US Work experience for admission or still do they consider Undergraduate GPA?
