The mistake is in the Background Declaration Schedule 1 form, question no : 9
The second part which says "previously sought refugee status in canada or applied for a canadian immigrant or permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa", I have answered NO for it
But I am in canada on a study permit, and therefore I think, I should have answered yes.
So what can be done now? Is there any way to notify Sydney about this mistake of mine?
i dont think they do all these checks in Sydney... they must be only doing a preliminary points calculation based on your declarations and checking if you fall under an applicable NOC code.
should not worry...
you can correct during your final application...
but, that's what I think.... wait for others to reply
I have emailed them on the ID given by Aanbaan.. I will also fill up the specific page of the form again, and courier it to sydney.
Will they be able to relate this page with the original application?
when i received the email from sydney about my initial assessment from the same email address as provided by aanbaan, the email had the following sentences at the end.
This e-mail address is solely for the purpose of communicating to clients and/or their representative's further instructions regarding their application. This e-mail box is not being monitored. Any future communication/queries to this e-mail address will therefore not be answered.
which means they don't respond to emails sent to this address.
