Is there a final date for transferring GIC amount

Hi this is my second post on this forum. My previous posts has received great responses and I've a made some wonderful friends.

My question is that the deadline for applying student visa for the fall intake is July 31st , so is there any such deadline for GIC amount transfer ? If I'm doing via CIBC it will take maximum 48 hours. So can i complete it any date before applying my Visa

There is no deadline for GIC transfer. Banks are totally independent from IRCC. However, from SP application point of view, you should transfer ASAP if you are trying to beat a certain deadline in filing your application. Assuming you are applying under SDS. For regular stream, you don’t need GIC (but can be helpful in your application).

Always consider some time buffer for unforeseen issues or concerns.
