I got a message from CIC and they asked me to mail the passport to VAC(visa application center) in New York. The description in VAC-New York Center states that the service fee $34.10 twice; however, they also mentioned $43.01 once. So, how much is the service fee actually?
sent it via the Visa Application Center. Below instructions are for application who applied online in the US
1) Go to your bank to get a cashier check:
To: CSC Consular Services Inc
Amount: $34.10
Note: name, application number and DOB
2) Make a copy of the cashier check
3) Print out and sign 2 consent forms
4) Go to Fedex: You can do the 2 days AM one so it's a bit cheaper.
Make sure you have tracking number for all of the envelope
Things to include:
- Passport
- CIC Passport Request Letter
- 2 Consent forms (signed and dated)
- Copy of the cashier check
- Letter include information: Name, Application number, UCI Number
Address,
Email Address and phone number
- Paid + empty return envelope (with tracking number) to Cong's address with your phone number. Ask the fedex agent to put the PRINTED AIRWAY BILL in there.
Thank you very much! Another point, according to their requirement in the website, I need to mail the $34.10 cashier's check to CSC lockbox, and mail the copy of check to VAC, right?
