I have been reading around and I can't seem to find the information that I am looking for so here I am.
Now I haven't received final approval yet but when I do it's only going to be a letter of introduction and from what I know they will issue you your study permit when you land in Canada.
Thing is... My university is located in the province of Saskatchewan and if I plan to quarantine there I would have to spend about CAD $1000 (give or take) which makes it somewhat a less desirable option for me. Nonetheless, if it's mandatory I will.
On the other hand, I have relatives in Montreal (which is in another province) and I would like to spend my quarantine there rather than spending a thousand dollars.
Can anybody advise me on whether I can choose to quarantine in another province? and will it cause problems while issuing my study permit? Has anyone recently traveled to Canada and chose to quarantine elsewhere?
