Can please someone help us to clarify if my common law partner need to obtain a police certificate from the country that he worked for the last 4 years( Angola) before coming to Canada as a visitor and we just submitted our common law partner application? We submitted a NBI ( National Bureau of Investigation) equivalent to National police clearance from the Philippines which is his country of citizenship.? I’m just worried now that it’s been 49 days since we submitted our application and we haven’t received an AOR yet. Many thanks

yes, in the future they will ask pcc form other count other than phil. because he works for the longest time in Angola. if i were u u should apply now for PCC in angola.

Thank you. But not upon the initial submission of our application? I’m just a little worried because we have not received an AOR yet as I mentioned. And I’m positive that we got all the forms signed and updated before we submitted it.
