A Simple question .. Is Mississauga office only for Applicants from Mississauga or it handles some of Toronto applications as well?
I am seeing Mississauga office way faster than St. Clair? whats the difference and why most of St. Clair people get RQ?
I live in Toronto .. I will apply in 2 month.
Mississauga office is only for Mississauga applicants.
Move to Mississauga area and then file your citizenship application, it will be processed quicker

Incorrect.
My wife and I live in North York, Toronto. My wife app went to Mississauga and got processed within 5 months.
I applied 6 Months earlier, my app went to Scarborough and stuck there.

Thanks for the info .. I am in North York too .. The funny thing I was in Mississauga a year ago! I hope I can get my file transferred to Mississauga not Scarborough ... I hate this random luck in processing files!!

Me too! I wish CIC would process files at the same speed, no matter where you live. Because of my job, I've moved quite a lot. I'm wondering if my file keeps "following" me, and if this is slowing down the process. Currently I'm in QC and my file is in NB (who knows why... I've never lived in NB.)
I heard that if you live east of yonge your application goes to scarabrough.. If you live west o yonge street it goes to missasauga..

In know two people who live on the same house (west of Toronto), the file of one of them was sent to Mississauga and the other to Scarborough...
I live and landed in the Scarborough office.
However, my citizenship office is Mississauga.
I am Mississauga applicant and I have been awaiting for my oath letter almost 3 months folks I don't think it matters much where your file will be rather who is going to handle it and his/her standpoint about it! Good luck to all
looks like i go mississauga. fingers crossed!
I don't think so.. I live at Don Mills/Sheppard..my wife went to Missi and I went to Scar.
I think it is some other random mechanism for assigning the office.
This Month I will complete 5 Months since test.. hoping for Oath soon.

I see that you got an RQ, I have 2 questions for you if you dont mind.
1- Do you think there is a specific reason you got RQ? Do you work full time or you are independent worker?
2- How did you manage to send RQ papers in 2 days? Did you prepare them ahead of time?
I got RQ because I have lot of US trips for fun and business. I was back-2-back employed - full time and in addition I did some Management Consulting in-between. Many of US trips do not have clear CBSA records. During test/interview Citizenship Official was ok and did not raise any concerns. But after 2 Months of test they sent me a letter asking CBSA record consent. Which was a red flag to me.
So I started preparing for RQ - Employment Records, Tax Records (NOAs, T4, T5, Incorporation docs and Contracts), Lease Records, Health Records, Auto Insurance, Family ties etc. So the day I got it it, I printed/photo copied the docs and sent it out.
Came out to be 500+ pages and Canada Post Mailing weighed around 1.9 KG.

Hoping for Oath soon ...
