If i take a 1 year degree/diploma in Canada in Information Technology, i will 1 year PGWP. Then if i get a full time employment after completing my graduation, am i correct in assuming that i will not need a LMIA.
However once my PGWP expires then will my same or different future employers still need LMIA to employ me?
When your PGWP expires or before then you will need to either apply for PR or get an employer to support an LMIA application, for sure you would need a work permit. Without either of those getting approved you would need to stop working once your PGWP expires.
Most people would recommend going for a 2 year course to get a 3 year PGWP as that gives you a better chance of gaining experience for a PR application. A PGWP is an open work permit so no LMIA required for a PGWP.
