In the PWGP IMM1295e, there are two questions
1. Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory?
To which I answered YES and mentioned a study permit refusal in the box below.
2. Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?
To which I answered YES and mentioned previous Canada visit visa and my canada study permit
As there was no more space, I did not mention a WITHDRAWAL.
However, while in Canada I had applied for TRV which I later withdrew when I had my study permit.......
I just recently saw posts, somehow, that visa officers sent Procedural Fairness Letters (PFL) for not telling the truth. Almost all the cases I saw are that they issue the PFL for NOT mentioning REFUSALS to CANADA or USA etc. I mentioned the ONLY REFUSAL I had.....But don't know if it is mandatory to mention the WITHDRAWAL as well.
My deduction was that since my TRV application did not get any response and that I WITHDREW it, I should not mention it.
I had WITHDRAWN my Express Application too and never mentioned it anywhere.
I don't have any intention to misrepresent or anything. There was no space left in the box and secondly, I thought it was not required as Withdrawal means I took back my application.
Any suggestion in this regard or any experience sharing will be welcome.
