Is it possible to apply for PR after ITA with an unofficial electronic copy of ECA from CES ?

Greetings forum members,
I have a question here, could we use unofficial electronic copy of ECA from CES to apply to CIC after receiving ITA. In case the ECA report gets lost in transit , then could someone apply with unofficial copy of ECA which CES provides,before dispatch of final copy ? I have read that WES provides an electronic copy,which could be used in PR application. CES too provides an electronic copy but it has a caption 'unofficial', so I was wondering whether it is wise to order a duplicate copy immediately for applying, if original copies never reached or unofficial electronic copy is acceptable ? Anybody, from their experience ?
