Is it normal to get a POE letter that only valid for a month of time??

I received my POE letter yesterday and it says I have to seek entry to Canada to obtain my study permit by 2021/05/04. Is this normal? Or the VO may write the wrong date on the POE letter?

Just because its not normal doesn't mean its a mistake, you could send a web-form to inquire. When does the permit start/end & when does school start?

Did you defer your studies? And when does your program start? You can enter by the date and then apply for an extension.
