I am wondering is it mandatory to provide the original PNP certificate in our package. During consolidation of my paper work for PNP-PR, I noticed the checklist mentions "Copy" of PNP certificate. However, based on discussion with my friends and colleagues they have mentioned an "Original" needs to be submitted.
Not for what I know.
I can tell you, for sure, about BC pnp: they do not provide "original" but, instead, they normally send an electronic version of the certificate. It means that there is not "original" at all: what I told you was valid for BC pnp until last February, I do not know about other Provinces or Territories or (in case) new BC pnp procedures..
As far as I understand, the province nominated you also files your nomination to CIC
I take my case as an example, my representative just enclosed a copy of nomination certificate in the package submitted to CIC. I got AOR which advises that my application set is complete
Just use a really high quality colour photo copier I don't think they are going to look that closely at it to make sure its on the right kind of paper or anything. They would be looking more at the fact that they have one on file from your province.
