Is is mandatory to take you Canadian PR application as a proof to test center

I read this on IELTS website, You will receive one copy of your Test Report Form*. (*Those applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will receive two. You will need to provide the test centre with proof of application to CIC.) )


Q. 1 I want to make sure , is it mandatory to take your application proof on test center when you go to take IELTS exam or it's for results only? is test center going to allow me to take IELTS without application proof?

Q.2 I spoke to an agent he was saying without your IELTS score we can not submit your Canadian PR application. Is it true?

1. No - not mandatory.
2. Depends how you are applying for PR (through which immigration stream).
