Hi all,
Please help, I badly need it.

My wife got her India-PCC in India on March 2019. Her last date of residence in India is April 2019. She then moved to Canada. I submitted our EE application with the same PCC of her's and our AOR date is 17th July. I was going through few forums and I am little worried now. My question is,
1. Is her pcc valid, since she moved to Canada while pcc was issued during her stay in india?
Or
2. Do I need to get another new pcc and submit it through web form?

1. Yes
2. No
Thanks for the response. I got this doubt after seeing this,

For the country where you currently live
The police certificate for the country where you currently live:
  • must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application
  • must not be expired
For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

Thats correct. You need PCC for every country you stayed a minimum of 6 months in a row. I stayed in USA in 2012 for 5 months, 2015 for 4 months and in 2017 for 2 months. But not 6 months in a row. So PCC is not applicable for me. USA PCC takes 3 to 4 months anyway.

Going by my wife's case, her PCC in India was done on Mar-2019. She stayed in India till April 2019. So shouldn't her PCC be got after she left India because its says "after the last time you stayed there for 6 months"

Indian PCC should issued after the last exit of your wife from India, I would suggest you to contact cic immediately and let them know you will upload new PCC. You can get Indian PCC in Toronto Consulate in a day

So did you re-uploaded your fresh PCC ? or the previous one that worked ? I am having similar situation,
  • PCC (Feb 2022)
  • Visited india in April-May for 4 weeks.
  • AOR - Nov 2, 2022 (Uploaded old PCC)
