Is IELTS required for Principal Applicant only?

Hi all,
My husband is applying "again" as Skilled worker as our last application is stuck in the pre-2008 back-log applications... sigh!
Anyway, we applied before in December 2005 and since it has been quite long, I have forgotten if we submitted IELTS for both the principal applicant (my husband) and spouse (me).

Please tell me if IELTS is required for only the principal applicant or also for the spouse... thanks!

Only the principal applicant needs to write the IELTS test...................all the best in your new application

you must sit for GT IELTS...
you need to have moderate band score in all section otherwise there is always a chance that you will get rejected though u have equal or more than 67 points.

He is wrong. CHC assures that the applicant should have good English skills to survive in Canada.

At least you should get 6 in all.

It would be the best if you get at least 2 points from each part of IELTS (in general 8). (because they say, that you need to have moderate level of English).
