I currently Freelance for an American client through Upwork.com. I have a minimum of 35 hours of work per week, my hourly rate is above the Canadian minimum wage, and it is continuous with no end date restriction(i.e. more than a year). I have been doing this since May 2017.
Will this be accepted as a valid job offer in my CRS score? Please note, I am not referring to foreign work experience, but to "valid job offer" that comes under question 8 of the Additional Points section in the CRS score tool.
If freelancing on Upwork is considered a valid job offer, will a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) be required, or is it exempt from needing an LMIA ?
