My parents came to Canada in July on Tourist visa.
We applied for supervisa while they were in India before coming here.
It got approved in Sep, while there were staying here in Canada for 6 months on Tourist Visa.
We got supervisa stamped on passports by sending those to LA, USA(Due to stamping condition of not being done within Canada)
Now we have stamped Supevisa on Passport. Do we need to flagpole at boarder or visit some other other and come back to activate Supervisa or not?

Exiting and reentering Canada is not the same as flagpoling. They can’t flagpole and would need to leave Canada and try to reenter. Would suggest they enter on their supervisa on their next visit to Canada. They can attempt to extend their current visit if necessary from Canada.
Also in same situation.
My mother’s super visa got stamped recently.
So can it be activated by flag pole ? Or a short visit to country like jamaica ? Or if not then can we apply for visitor record extension?

She needs to leave Canada and try and reenter. That comes with risks as well if there are concerns that she has minimal ties to her home country and/or has already visited Canada for too long. Her best option is to apply for visitor record extension and use the supervisa on her next visit. A supervisa remains a visitor visa that allows you to visit Canada for long periods of time but not move to Canada.
Thanks..Called IRCC and they said that a visitor record can be applied and with that attach a LOE mentioning that she has super visa. With that there is a possibility that they might extended period of stay

Yes but she would still be on a regular TRV. Getting an extension for 6-12 months is fairly common if you have the funds to support yourself and a genuine reason to want to visit Canada longer.
