I have a medical request and they have asked for recent PCC, Passports, POF. When we first applied we had provided them a FBI clearance as well as Indian PCC, since we lived in the US for 2 years earlier. Do we need to do a FBI clearance again while sending the medical doc to New Delhi. The request does not mention FBI clearance certificate explicitly, though. My husband has made 3-6 weeks travel twice after we first applied in Mar 2010. If I apply now for fresh FBI clearance it would take 6-8 weeks to get the report. Please suggest.
If CIC has asked for recent PCC without specifying which countries - then they mean the PCC for all countries including the US. So yes - in that case you must obtain new FBI certs.

Thanks for your reply. The description says "Original Recent Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for you and the spouse". Then there is a description about who can sign the PCC for residents of punjab and the rest of the states and those residing outside India. So I am guessing they are asking only for a PCC from India. Please suggest as the FBI process is lengthy, finger prints to be done and a wait time of 6-8 weeks. My husband has a US travel coming up as well in the next two weeks. I would really appreciate your help
