Hi all, I am currently applying for Express Entry, and I am confused about the job offer points.

I started with my current job in July 2019 in Canada under NOC Category A. The job offer is indefinite time, but with a probational period of 5 years. I got a positive LMIA, and I am legally working under this job offer and LMIA.

According to this:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1011&top=29
working in Canada does not count as a job offer.

But, since I already started this job, I am wondering if the current job offer still counts as a job offer.

Thanks.

By reading more from the forum, I guess the job offer for the current work is not a valid job offer, especially after reading #13 post here:
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...eads/additional-points-with-job-offer.600444/

I am thinking of if a confirmation of employment, stating my probational employment is until 2024, AND the probational employment is more than 1 year if I obtained PR before sometime in 2023?

It's awkward to ask my employer to write an offer letter again, since I am already employed. Can anyone who successfully claimed job offer credits share a sample of such offer letter? Thanks a lot!

The job offer must state that the offer is for minimum, a year, full-time and non seasonal.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, my current position is for permanent with a probational period of 5 years (4.5 years to go), full-time, and non-seasonal.

I am confused about if the job offer has to be a new job offer/letter, or I can simply reuse the job offer issued before I took my current position.

Is there any successful case in this regard?
