Is COPR good for renewing driving license in absence of valid pr card?

Hi,

My PR CARD is expired and i have to wait around 1 full year to be eligible for renewing the pr card.

In the meantime I have to renew my driving license as well because it is expired too.

Can I go to registry and provide COPR plus expired driving license with some utility bills to renew driving license?

OR do I really need to have a valid pr card?

Depends on the province. In many provinces the COPR is only valid for a year after landing.
