Is connection mandatory for Manitoba PNP? Any exceptions

If I want to migrate to Manitoba through PNP do I need connection? Is it mandatory to have known person in Manitoba ? Is there any other way to get in?

Yes, connection is mandatory!
Only other option is an invite through LAA or exploratory visit which is nearly impossible!
