Is Canadian Criminal Records needed when apply the new pathway program?

Hello, I wish to ask if anybody knows regarding the criminal records.

I have prepared for my home country one but I didn't prepare for Canadian records.
I have only few days left but new pathway registration is comming soon.

Do you think I need to visit the RCMP and request for criminal records?
If yes, finger print is available nowadays?

They’re never required upfront because IRCC can look it up themselves. They may request fingerprints in the middle of the application.

They have not announced anything about criminal record so far. Check the immigration website

People are just preparing in case it will be required because they have not published the guidance yet. So according to the latest announcement there is no requirement for criminal check but it does not mean they will not ask for it later that makes people to prepare everything in advance just in case.
