Hi,

I am preparing to go to Vancouver from Bangladesh to attend master's program at UBC. I have a particular inquiry and it will be a big help if you can give an answer.

1. I am going to book air ticket from Dhaka to Vancouver. There are flights which have lay over in China (Kunming, Guangzhou, Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo) and/or USA (San Francisco). Does anyone know if Bangladeshi citizen requires transit visa for China/Japan and USA, lets say for less than 24hrs.

2. Does china exempt transit visa for all nationals for less than 24hrs layover?

3. Or is it better to take a route through middle east and Europe?

I know it is not the right place to ask but I hope someone who have experienced can help me.
