I am a 25 year old male from Serbia. I've lived here all my life and I wish to move. I've already researched information regarding migration to Canada on a work visa, however there is one main thing that I'd like to inquire about. Do I need a valid job offer upon arrival in Canada in order to get the work visa or can I just search for a job when I get there? Will they grant me the visa without having a job offer? Can someone explain please?
There are 2 ways to move to Canada
1. Get a job offer sitting in Serbia and move
2. Apply for Express Entry and wait for an invitation from Canada
Option 1 is tough, but not impossible. It depends on your line of work as well as the employer's intent to move you to Canada rather than hire a local.
Option 2 is dependant upon a point based system and if you score high, you will be invited to apply
For getting work visa in canada you must have valid job offer. You need to submit the valid job offer from your employer in order to get work visa in canada.
