I applied file on 5 nov for jan 2019 intake in non sds but there is no response till date . Is anybody on the same boat

Yes same this side. I applied under SDS category on 21st November for Jan intake and the visa file is still under process after 60 days.Don't know why it is taking so long, people who applied in December for may intake are getting their visa but we are still waiting.

i too have the same issue. but we have requested to give biometrics?

But if you are applying from India then there is no need to give biometrics but if they are asking for it then you should give your biometrics as per their directions. And when did you applied and for which intake ?

From this year you have to give biometrics everywhere.

They were doing in a phased manner and we are in the second phase. However, only 8 Biometric centers in India are there which will mean travel for some people.

No, that only affects if you have applied in this year and they have asked for biometrics.
