Is AIP required for May 2021 (Summer Intake)?

Hello Everyone, I received admit for Summer Intake (May 2021) from Dalhousie University Master's program. Do I still need to apply for AIP before applying for Study permit? Is AIP mandatory for students beginning their course after fall/winter 2020-2021?

Important: The 2-stage assessment process for initial study permit applications expired on September 15, 2020.

AIP isn't something you "apply" for, it was just a short-term solution for Fall students.
