Is access to tracker account necessary for the next steps after AOR?

Greetings. I got my AOR on August 31st and received an email on September 6th instructing me to register the tracker. However, I'm encountering an issue when trying to register using my UCI and case number; I keep getting THAT typical error message. I reached out to IRCC through the web form, but I'm curious if this might delay the progress of the next steps, such as background checks and citizenship test scheduling. Any ideas? Thank you.

there are only 2 actionables in the whole process Test and Oath and you would get email for both. Tracker would have status for BG check, Language, Prohibitions etc. for which you won't get an email
