I was wondering if there are people who applied for CEC and found a lawyer's services helpful, or if there are some who successfully applied themselves?

My application is almost complete, but I'm terrified to make a mistake in the forms, or forget a document... only to have the process stalled 11 months later. A lawyer said he could look over the forms for me, but he will charge $200+tax per hour! That's like, my entire budget for a week. Any thoughts, please? ::)
