is a burlington ontario a good place for a newcomer to live?

I recently immigrated to Canada as a permanent resident and im staying at relatives who live in burlington, soon I plan to move out and settle on my own.Is Burlington a good place for a newcomer to settle?Also in terms or jobs,cost of living,renting a place etc.Also going to college or university.

Canada as a whole is pretty good with universities. Burlington is a city between the GTA and Hamilton so while there is a bit of industry there it's also kind of a bedroom community for the aforementioned areas -- hence why traffic is so bad on the QEW/403 heading to and from those areas during commute time. As long as you understand the downsides of living there, the benefits will certainly be worth it.
