Is 5 years gap from last education would reduce my VISA chances????

HI Folks,

I heard that if we have a 5 years gap from last education goona reduce my VISA chances? In other words, the VISA chances will be low if we have 5 years gap from our last education?

Is that true? Please advice

I graduated in 1998 and secured my visa in 2013. You can calculate the number of years thats the gap.

not really, if ur graduate u can go for masters at any age, share ur profile what were u doing during 5 yrs

I have similar question though I have got great advise from one of the senior members on this forum but just wanted to know IF I did schooling in 2004 and then B.Com in 2011 and now applying for 1 year PG Diploma, actually certificate and I have all work experience from 2004-2013 till date. what are my Visa chances. Please suggest!

PG diploma is for two yrs and certificate is for 1 yr, BTW u can get visa, but there are many other factors, but this section seems ok,, but u will need strong SOP..

stay back? what u mean by that!!! after one year PG u will get one year PGWP, there are different PNP programs for different provinces and there is federal immigration, u can find about that on cic website,

NO!
If you have all the justifications then there is no refusal chances but the condition is that you logically and purely justify your gaps.

For example: I start working here, here and here or I went some where or because of this this reasons i did nothing in that duration, etc...

I really dont know about that after engineering in electrical and computer engineering I will prefer masters, but project management I am not familiar with what this course is about, if u r sure that it is connected to ur previous education then thats fine u can go for it,,

It's a Management program.. As I have 5 years of experience, I feel that if I go for management course, it would a plus point in VISA perspective.

well if u think so then it should be ok, as far as 5 year study gap is concerned thats not a big deal as its covered by ur experience, ur good to go

Same condition is with me I have 11 years of gap ,I have done my B.Com in 2002... And I have applied visa on 30th June under SPP category with strong SOP and home ties , I am already having multiple visitor visa for Canada and US for 10 years .....Can I get the Visa???? Help me!!!!!!!
