Hi Im hoping to visit Canada with a friend and travel etc for 6 months but i dont know very much about the requirements and rules for Irish travelling to Canada?
Do we need to apply for a holdiay/visitor visa before we go or do you just book flights and return home within 6months?
Any info would be a big help thanks alot!
You are visa-exempt.
To visit, just turn up with obvious access to sufficient funds to support your visit.
Make no attempt to work and if you intend to study, it must be for less than 6 months.
Don't take ANYTHING that could cause the immigration office at the point of entry to think that you might not be a genuine visitor.
You might want to take proof of travel insurance to cover the whole period as well
Simples....
