I'm an Irish national sojourning in Canada so far over a number of trips this year to 143 days. I have been here for meetings mostly but always on a visitor or tourist visa.
I have a few questions if anyone is kind enough and in the know:
* Is a 6 month stay from the date of last entry each time
* Tax residency (this one is more complicated), I have no reskdentiar ties with Canada and am employed by an Irish company. If I am here for 183 days I am tax liable right? Because I am therefore not Irish tax resident in that period?

The time you are allowed to remain in Canada is always determined by CBSA upon entry. If a date is not written in your passport it is 6 months. Reentering the country starts the clock again.
If your on a visitor permit you can't become tax resident. My concern is that you seem to be working in Canada for large chunks of time without a business visa or work permit. It is unclear what you are actually doing in Canada.
