I recently submitted an application for PR thru EE. I just got an update from IRCC asking for a scanned copy of my USA FBI Police certificate in colourand they have given me only 7 days to respond.
My FBI-PC is in black white. I did find other posts in this forum that said the same. I assume they process a lot of PCs from the FBI - not sure what could have happened here.
1) Is there anyone out there who has seen something similar to this before?
2) Any advice on how to respond?
3) Is there any way I can contact IRCC to clarify?

Scan the document in high-resolution color and send it along with a message saying the document itself came in black and white.
Also, sometimes black and white documents have little prints in color which the case officers use to determine the authenticity of any such document.

Thanks for the response, I got this request despite the original document scanned in color. Like you said I am planning on scanning at a higher dpi in color again and responding with a letter of explanation.
