IP2 is taking too long

Hi

We uploaded our express entry file in April 2018 and recieved AOR, then after 20-25 days we passed our medicals.
After few days they demanded some documents twice.
In the last week of july I guess they changed our background verification in process, so it's already been more than 45 days.

Can anyone pls. Tell us that why it is taking so long. And for how long We have to wait now?

Can be both security screening or eligibility still on going

I’m ip2 since December and still waiting for security to get cleared

Just chill and do nothing else unfortunately et cross fingers

IP1 and IP2 are forum made. Moreover, the way Cic used to change your status from Not applicable to in progress (Ip1) to not applicable to in progress (Ip2) at various stages gave birth to these terminologies that u know in this forum as IP1 and IP2.

The actual stages are R10, A11 eligibility Criminality, and Security screening. People can guess all day long that whether they are in Ip1 or Ip2 but in actual u can’t tell unless u see your gcms notes

That's the reason, when they request for additional documents, this happens. So the first time document upload should be correct.

Can't comment on that. They can revert today or may be in 6 months.
