I have some questions regarding visitor visa for mother in law.
1) Should my wife issue the invitation letter or should it be me ? ( Note I am primary bread winner in household)
2) Her expenses will be borne by us here for lodging/ meals but her return ticket will be sponsored by Brother in law who lives in Saudi ( Mother in law is in Pakistan). Should I just say that we will be sponsoring her whole trip rather than complicating it with Proof of funds from Pakistan ( mother in law account) Canada ( our account) and Saudi (Brother in law account ) ? Suggestions will be helpful

Would make sense for your wife or both of you to invite. Your MIL should really be the one showing enough funds to pay for her own travel for a regular TRV. Attaching your bank account would be secondary. Is your mother living in KSA with her son? Will not look great to say that the brother will pay for her flight and attach his savings information.
