Hello everyone!
I'm an Italian PhD student and I'm going to spend 4 months in Montreal at Environment and Climate Change Canada to do a part of my PhD activity. Throughout the whole period I will be paid by my University. It is not clear to me if I need some type of visa, like the student permit. Could someone help me, please?

i guess for less than 6 months you don't need a study permit

Thank you ElStu and student2018.
Until now the VFS center hasn't provide me any useful information. As far as I have understood, probably I don't need any visa, as student2018 suggested, but I would prefer to get an official answer. I don't want to be rejected at the border :(

Thank you again guys!
