Invitation letter for a friend.

Hi ,

My friend is planning to take a road trip from Michigan,USA to visit me in Toronto.

What do I mention in the invitation letter ? What supporting documents does she has to show for the road trip.

If you're talking about the supporting documents from your side, your proof of status in Canada is all that's needed. Your financials aren't as important as hers. If you're referring to the documents for the entire TRV application, you both can check here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp

You can, but it doesn't matter either way. It's her application, so it's her details that will be scrutinized.
