Intra Company Work Permit to Bridge Open Work Permit

Hello..

I am desperately looking for some advice on my situation. Highly appreciate if any one could help me guide.

My current closed work permit is valid till July 2018. I am maxing out ( 5 years in ICT WP ) this Sep 2017.
I have my PR application filed on April 3rd. If my PR process is not complete before Sep 2017 will i have
to go out of the country as i cannot convert my closed WP to Bridge Open WP since i can apply for Bridge
WP only within 4 months of current WP expiry.. It seems weird. I am hoping someone can help me with this..
