Am a newbie here, got transferred from India to Canada in my company. My company applied my work-permit online to CIC on july 5th 2016 and approximate time given was 9 weeks(but my friends were telling me that Canadian visa is issued less than a month). This is the 9th week which ends on 6th sep 2016, when inquired in office i got a reply like "Didn't get any update from Visa office".
Is this delay normal? Actually i was supposed to join on Aug 15th in Ottawa but due to delay it has been postponing.
My colleagues who transferred before got work permit in a month or less than 2months.
Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated.
