Intl. Student, Marry, work for future husband?

Hi, I am an international student at UBC. I'd like to bring my boyfriend, so we can get married here and stay with me here. He'd come with a "visitor visa". Are we gonna be available to get married?
Also, Is he gonna be able to work as a waiter or something like that here while I am studying or with Post Graduate Work Permit? Is he gonna be able to do a graduate pogram if he wants to?

Does he already have a TRV? If he can come to Canada, you can marry.

He would need to apply for a work permit based on your study permit after you marry. If approved, he can work. In order to apply for a work permit based on your PGWP, you need a skilled job and 3 payslips.

Whether he can do a graduate program depends entirely on him getting his own study permit and has nothing to do with being married to you.
