Hi Folks,

I need ur candid advise, I got letter from canadian embassy london for inter view in a month's time frm now. My qyestion is as follows;

1. Can I sell off one of my land properties and deposit the fund in my account since i dont have the minimum fund in my account at present.

2. I married last sept and have not updated my status. So can it affect me if I now go with my wife to the interview?

3 I dont know if the CAIPs report will get back to me in time if I request one now to help me knw why the interview befor I go.

PLS PMM I need ur opinion

Thanks!!

Hello
As said by pittabread it is very hard, because cic says if any thing change in your circumstances like new job, baby born, marriage , divorce etc etc you need to inform them immediately and secondly when you filled your application u says that u have required funds with u to settle down there but u dont have now(money maintained in your account for last six months ). Now this is critical condition for you . But try to borrow money from some one and put in your account and then go for interview then see what happened.

Good luck

I agree with you. It is because of the dollars. If he borrows the money as suggested by the other members , he will he prove the source, if asked to prove the source. How will he also go with his wife as he did not declare to cic , he was married. Just good to try.

Wish you the best.

1) Good to sell the land and put the money in the account so that you can have a source to prove if asked.

2) No idea of how to advice you on your marriage, since you were suppose to inform them since last year. You can not go with your wife as her docs are not in your file. Check first with Cic please, just my opinion.

3) A months time from now is May, you will not be able to get the Caips ready before then.

Please wait for seniors.

Thanks Guys

Canadaforall, thankjs for your opinion. Regarding my wife, the letter sent to me stated the documents my spouse should bring to the interview and that I must come with her. And also I'm required to fill out another application form and thus must indicate my new status and circumstances.

Pls I need more opinions from u guys....Pls note I'm yet to go medical.

Thanks!!

Guys, I still need ur opinions

i would suggest u that:

1) move ahead in this direction

2) send them the docs ASAP so that when u go for the interview the docs will already be there....as u mentioned that u have 1 month timeframe for ur interview....it would be better to submit the docs now and they would probably receive it in a week time frame....since ur file is already up (assuming that u r scheduled for the interview)....IO/VO can add in the additional time.....again...it all depends how IO/VO is pursuing the application

3) as far as my knowledge is concerned....CAIPS takes around 1+ month time to get so may not be an option for u @ this time....if it comes before interview....it may be a + point for u...

good luck

Hi, you said they asked you information about your spouse and you are yet to inform them so how did they know you are married? also if you have to hurriedly put any money in your account it must be from a source you can defend like a sale of property. i will advise you send a pm to qorax, PMM and explorer 101 and tell them the whole truth so they can guide you appropriately.

best of luck

Hi Guys thanks for your response. @Tinuadeadebola, the asked me to come with my spouse if applicable, ie if married. U knw I have not updated my file so I think that's why.I am required to come along with new completed application form ans background form. This is in form of update which they sometimes request from applicants. So, I'm a kind of doing update along with the interview and thus tend to include my spouse now and go along with her documents. What do u think guys??

Yes, just continue and add your wife on the forms and send the documents as soon as possible. But take care of big amount of money in your account, you have to show proof of the source. So selling the land is a better idea.
