interview in La suggestionns needed

Hi all
We had our interview on August 14, 2013. The interviewe passed the interview and she said she is satisfied about our relationship. She still requested additional documents and said she will forward us the letter but in meanwhile we can start gathering those. In the end, I asked if we passed the interview and she said yes and she said as long as I received these additional documents.I am just wondering if LA office requested additional documentation after passing the interview. She said it might take 2 to 3 months and she also said we can apply for visitor's visa if we want to. She said security is done and medicals are expired. Then we gave her the copy of new medical and we said that it was not requested but we decided to do it on our own. She said she will confirm with Ottawa and we don't need to redo
She said we can fax the additional documents but she will mail the letter.What do you guys think?

been in process would mean that they are on the final stages of getting your application completed...alot of ppl that i see say in process get thru in the space of 3-4 months or less. So that is a good sign for you....you just have to get the comfirmaton about your medical from Ottawa office n canada..........congrats on pasting your interview also

We mailed additional documents on Friday, which they requested during our interview on August 14, 2013. Our ECAS went in process on August 14, 2013. How long will it take for PPR? Also when they requested additional documents by email, they added another file number that start with B. What is this?

Unfortunately it's difficult to know how long it will take - nobody can give you that answer for sure. It could be a few weeks, or a few months - they need to receive the documents, match them with your file, see where the medicals are etc.

Hi there,

It really depends on the Visa Office. For some countries it takes 2-3 months and some less. Best way is to find LA applicants Spreadsheet somewhere in this forum, if there is any. There you can see how long after In Process people get their visas. May I ask whether the additional documents your interviewe requested were regarding your relationship?

No the additional documents were not regarding relationship
they asked for school transcripts from my husband, and letter of employment from me.
and that's it
which I already submitted them like a week ago

LA could not find my husbands medical before, but now we see on ECAS its says medical has been received does it mean they found it?
we had interview on Aug 14 we passed the interview.
so now how many days for passport request
and after they request the passport how many days it takes to return it.
