Hi everyone,
I just felt i should start up this thread on the "interview experience" so that all members who have done their interviews can share experience which would help those preparing to attend interviews.
Please members lets freely share this experience like what to expect, how to dress & any other tips. Otherwise, am looking forward to attending my interview this month (last week of September 2013) and i will surely share my experience afterwards.
Wishing everyone, the best of luck as we wait for the final good news.
Best Regards,
Rose13
Hi people,
Am very new on this site but so happy for find this topic. Me too i have interview in October and am iam wondering what to do to pass it.
I was reading some topics here that red flags come from different things.
My husband is 16years older, from different countries, he is a divorced and am single mother. we are married and other things are ok.
Good people please advise.
thank you very very much
Hi little-apple and nsr,
Thank you for your guiding links on the interview questions, they are really helpful i have printed them to read more about them
Nsr, it seems you did interview already. What do you thing of our age difference (16yrs), different cultural and children from our previous relationships?? We are now happily married and everything is fine & genuine.
Waiting to read more from you people.
AfricaLady,
My dear i advise you to take heart, be strong and believe/appreciate what you. Dont rush to judge yourself before even facing the interview. October is still some weeks ahead so if you put yourself on tension it is not good please. You are not the first to get married with age difference, kids, e.t.c All this is very normal so long as you are confident enough to explain to VO and provide any proof necessary you will make it.
I know a friend who had 19years difference but she did interview, passed and they are now happily living as a couple in Calgary, Canada. So for now, lower your fears and trust in God that all is well. Afterall its only God that determines our destiny. Take time to gather any doucment that would proof your marriage and all will be ok. Also learn to pray always.
All the best my dear.

Look at this way, if you guys are genuine couple then nobody can keep you separate. Its your right to get your spouse immigrate to canada like other people do. But if there is any red flags in the application, then it could delay your processing. Only solution is to be confident and get lots of proofs and explain your plus points to visa officer at the interview.
