Hello Guys,

I am a PhD student at my fourth year (hopefully I will be finished by the end of year. Recently, I have been offered an internship position in USA. The company is a big tech company and it is really tempting. The duration is for 4 months and is full-time. My concern is that my post graduate work permit would be refused if I do this internship, as i wont be in Canada for 4 months (which is considered a gap in my studies).
I can still enroll in the university while I am abroad (I have passed all course works and my supervisor has allowed me to do that). Since I have to report my employers when I am applying for a PGWP, I am afraid that they think there is a gap in my studies.
Anyone with similar situation? Should I accept the internship? Please advise me.
