International travel on work permit while awaiting PR card

My ICT work permit is valid till 2024 and I recently got my eCOPR. I have not got my PR card yet but need to travel to the US for a workshop next month. Can I still enter Canada on my work permit?

Have you actually landed as a PR yet? If so, your work permit is likely no longer valid.

Could you help me understand what that means, pls? I got the portal email where I confirmed that I'm in Canada and updated my address and photo. Then I got the eCOPR and am currently awaiting my PR card. Does this mean I've completed my landing process?

It sounds like you have landed (virtually).

If you are flying to the U.S. and do NOT hold a valid U.S. passport, you will need a PRTD (or PR Card, obviously) to return to Canada via a commercial carrier. You can return via a private vehicle (i.e. your car) at a land PoE with your CoPR document.

Absolutely! The CBSA officer (when you return) only needs proof that you are a PR. While a valid PR Card is the best proof, it is not required at a land PoE.
