International tax statements for 2015 and 2014

Dear all,

I have been in canada since 2016 hence i don't have canada tax statements for 2015 and 2014. However i had international income and it meets the minimum criteria mentioned.

So my question is will international tax statements be considered as eligible?? I have international tax statements for past six years. Will that be sufficient to sponsor my parents?

No - it won't be sufficient. The tax statements need to be Canadian.

You don't meet the income requirements to sponsor your parents and will be refused if you apply.

You must provide your Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for each of the three taxation years immediately preceding the date of your application.

Not to mention, income must have been earned while physically living in Canada.
