international student married to Canadian citizen wants PR card?

Hello,

I am an international student married to a born Canadian citizen and want to acquire a permanent resident status. Please let me know if that's possible and if so what are the paper forms I should fill out and how long will it take?

No.
You can always leave Canada but youre risking getting your entry back to Canada denied,if that is the case the application (and the money) is gone and you have to start all over again.If you are from a country that requires a visa for Cananda you won't get one anyways.

If you want to travel during the process you need to apply outland!

Even though I am on a study permit, should I still apply for outland? and please let me know if I should send another extend study permit application along with the outland PR since my student visa expires in march 2014 or keep them separate and apply for a new study permit 30 days before study permit expires.

You can apply outland if you want to even though you are on a study permit. If you apply inland, it would be safer for you not to travel. However, if you leave Canada with a valid multiple entry visit visa and a study permit, it's very unlikely that you would be denied entry coming back. The biggest risk is for people who don't have a multiple entry TRV. If such a person left Canada and then applied for a TRV at a Canadian embassy overseas, immigration would very likely deny based on that their plan is to stay permanently and not to visit.

You should keep your study permit separate from your PR application. Apply for a study permit renewal normally as you would otherwise have done.
