Difficult and uncertain in Canada too. Coming from one safe country where you have access to refugee protection to another one adds even more uncertainty. Refugees are expected to claim in the first safe country they arrive in. How long have you been In the US?
Smarter to try for economic immigration after you complete your studies. Or apply for a student visa and the PGWP after your studies. Far fewer restrictions and scrutiny.

Seeking asylum in USA is difficult nd not certain

Seeking asylum in Canada is far from certain. Many are refused and eventually deported. Have you looked into the acceptance rate from your home country? Have you consulted with a lawyer about your reasons for seeking asylum? Unless you have a family member in Canada there is no way for you to seek asylum from the US anymore unless you have a TRV and fly into Canada. There have been recent rule changes about people seeking asylum from the US. You may have seen articles about Roxham road. That is now closed. Getting refused asylum has longterm consequences. You will have extreme difficulty travelling to other countries as a visitor as well as getting a student or work permit. Many countries share their immigration information. Applying for asylum should be only attempted if you have no other options and your life is at risk.

Can international student in USA on f1 visa seek asylum to Canada ?

Do you have any family members in Canada?

If not, claiming asylum at a port of entry is not possible due to the Safe Third Country Agreement.
