Hello everyone. I applied on 5th December to extend my study permit and my new program will start on 9th January. I got graduated last week on 12 December and I stopped working (my study permit is till 31.03.2024 but because I got graduated I stopped working). My question is when can I legally work again, before 9th January, on 9 January or only once I get response for my study permit extension ? Thank you in advance

I am confused when you say you graduated, and then repetitively saying you extend your study permit. Extending Study permit for the program that you have graduated? was the the program you graduated pre-requisite to do new program? Before thinking about when you can work, you need to be sure if that extension was done properly,
My program finished on 12 december as I say,but because was not offering PGWP i had to do another program to stay in Canada,so I got a LOA from another school and applied on 5th December to extend my study permit. Now I got graduated from my first school (graduated on 12 december) and am waiting to start the second program on 9th January and waiting for my study permit extension to get approved).

So you current Study Permit is expired after you graduated. When receiving another LOA for a different DLI, with different period of study, you should make new application but not extending SP that has already expired. I'll let other Members to comment..
