Hi, everyone

Would any one advice me?

I have been studying in Vancouver for 4 years, now I got the PPR from Seattle office, just see are there any one here is same as me, international student become PR in Canada?

My question is , I have already got BC care card for 4 years, do I still need to wait for 3 months to get BC care after landing or only renew my card with my new immigration status?
And my wife is pregnant now, do I need to inform Seattle office before landing? Our passports are on the way to Seattle now.

Thank you, guys. Good luck to you all.

Any one can help me???? :o

hi loveson,

based on my experience and "knowledge", i'd say, since you already have your BC Care Card, you just need to update your status with them, that you became a PR now, and Card should be renewed only.

And, I don't think that you need to inform Seattle office about your pregnant wife, since the child isn't born yet. and if it's born, "everybody" will know it anyway :) and then the paperwork starts.

hope it helps...

bye,
